Roles/Duties:
- Evaluate potential plaintiff-side class action lawsuits regarding data breaches and privacy violations.
- Evaluate potential plaintiff-side class action lawsuits regarding data breaches and privacy violations.
- Develop and execute comprehensive legal strategies tailored to the nuances of data breach and privacy cases.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other essential court documents.
- Manage the discovery process, including document collection and analysis.
- Represent clients effectively in negotiations and court proceedings.
- Conduct thorough research and remain updated on evolving privacy and data breach laws.
- Collaborate with other legal professionals in multi-disciplinary teams to address complex legal issues.
Job Requirements:
- At least two years of experience in class action litigation, specifically with a focus on data breach and privacy.
- Strong interest and foundational knowledge in privacy and data breach law.
- Demonstrated excellence in writing, research, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in managing pleading, motion practice, and discovery processes.
- Ability to work independently, driving cases forward to meet client needs.
- Creative and proactive approach to resolving legal challenges.
- Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- 5+ years of litigation experience
- 2 years of Class Action Experience
Compensation Range:
- Starting base salary ranges from $100,000 to $180,000, depending on experience (DOE).
- Additional performance-based bonuses.
