  • Track bills and legislative developments relevant to the office’s priorities.
  • Assist with drafting memos, constituent letters, and legislative summaries.
  • Attend committee hearings and provide detailed notes to senior staff.
  • Handle constituent services, including responding to inquiries and casework.
  • Requirements:
    • Bachelor’s degree or relevant political experience preferred, but not required.
    • Strong research, writing, and communication skills for legislative support.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
    • Familiarity with the Texas legislative process and policy issues is a plus.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate work.
